About the SAT

The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is one of the most widely recognized standardized tests used for college admissions in the United States and many other countries. It is designed to measure a student’s readiness for college by assessing key skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

The SAT is a comprehensive exam that evaluates critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills essential for academic success in college. It is administered by the College Board and is accepted by over 2,000 colleges and universities worldwide as part of their admissions process.

SAT Structure and Sections

Reading:

Measures your ability to understand and analyze written passages from a variety of subjects including literature, history, social studies, and science.

Writing & Language:

Tests grammar, usage, punctuation, and editing skills through multiple-choice questions based on passages.

Math:

Divided into two parts — one that allows the use of a calculator and one that does not — covering algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, and advanced math concepts.
